Report to the Bridge!

Artemis is a multi-player, multi-device networked game for IOS devices. IT IS NOT A SINGLE-PLAYER GAME; ITS FOR FRIENDS IN THE SAME ROOM TOGETHER.

Artemis simulates a spaceship bridge by networking several computing devices together. One device runs the simulation and the "main screen", while the others serve as workstations for the normal jobs a bridge officer might do, like Helm, Communication, Engineering, and Weapon Control.

Artemis is a social game where several players are together in one room ("bridge") , and while they all work together, one player plays the Captain, a person who sits in the middle, doesnt have a workstation, and tells everyone what to do.

Pros and cons of Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator app for iPhone and iPad

Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator app good for

I happen to have the latest version of the Apple TV, I think it would be easier if you have an app of this for that made just for hosting and big screen display of the ship, so I dont have to waste a device just to AirPlay the ship and host the game.
Quick note to everyone: THIS IS NOT A SINGLE PLAYER GAME, AND NOT AN ONLINE GAME. You need a bunch of friends with Artemis on their computers or iDevices in a LAN to properly enjoy it. If youre not familiar with what Artemis is, do check out their website before you buy this. If you are familiar with Artemis though, GET IT NOW. At least on the iPad its a full mirror copy of the desktop game, meaning you can play any station with full graphics and everything.
Ive been waiting for this ever since I got Artemis on my PC. If you know Artemis and have an iPad, this is a must-have. If you dont know Artemis, go look it up. Obviously, the iPad is best suited for Engineering or maybe the new captains map. Something where a tablet in hand is convincing.
The 1.7 update connects easily to the PC server. The iPad is a natural for casual gamers to get into the game without a lot of fuss. The interface is simple enough not to get in the way and let everyone focus on the action instead. Two thumbs up.
This is the most amazing game in the world. I have it on pc as well and both platforms work well together. I hope to see this game go places. So much fun.
I can only hope for this game to be developed further and further

Some bad moments

Super fun game. Sadly it keeps crashing on my iPad Air during starting the app. As long as it worked with the previous version of iOS: Easy to set up, works great, no crashes and compatible with the PC version. We never ever had such a fun with a computer game.
Even though I have been enjoying Artemis since its early stages and it was my first purchase on my new iPad, I had to rate it with just one star. Sadly this App keeps crashing. I hope you fix this ASAP. Then I will surely rate this five stars.
Love the game, super fun. But please fix the crashes :( it keeps crashing on the loading screen (ipad mini retina)
Its tons of fun but it kills the buzz sometimes when a client or server crashes for no reason. We has random consoles drop out the game saying "simulation not running" all clients and server were iOS. Looking forward to Artemis 2.0 for iOS. Frustrating when it crashes just as its getting fun. Which happens a lot.
I wish it had been made clear that this would not work with the 2.0 PC version. My friends and I just wasted an evening and a few bucks trying to get this to work. Thanks for nothing. Im sure multiplatform is a huge challenge, but you need to make this stuff clearer to potential customers.
Game no longer works since I upgraded my iPad Air to iOS 8 needs to get fixed sooner rather then later. App should be pulled until it works dev is unresponsive.
