Does not work on current hardware/OS

Application crashes to home after splash screen on current IOS (8.1.2) and current hardware (new iPad Air 2). I even followed developers suggestion and restarted the iPad with a hard reset/power off/power on. New installation; Im beyond the period of time available for refund.

Im a fan of the desktop version, having bought the game twice on the PC platform (once for 1.x and again for 2.x/Steam). This version, however, appears to have had fatal and unresolved flaws since the fall (IOS 8).
